Task: To make an accessible and easy-to-use website with an integrated database of construction equipment parts and attachments.
Entra is a supplier and dealer of spare parts for construction equipment and attachments. 5 years ago, the company turned to us for the development of an internal sale system of their products. As over the years of company’s existence, their database has expanded significantly, and the number of positions has exceeded 300,000, the client has encountered several problems, such as:
Obligatory registration in the system. To inquire about the availability of spare parts, the visitor to the website had to go through the registration process, which considerably complicated the process.
Lack of a mobile version of the sales system, which made it inconvenient to use the database on mobile devices.
The system was invisible for the search engines, which made it hard for Entra to compete on the online market and promote their products on the Internet.
The main goal of the project was to make a large database available online in order to attract new customers and simplify the work of Entra employees by making the service accessible from mobile devices.
Results
As a result of our work, the internal sales system was integrated into the client’s website, which is now easy to find in search engines. Any visitor to the Entra web page can now check spare parts stock availability or specify estimate delivery times without prior registration.
This option allowed Entra to significantly simplify the service for potential customers and helped to increase the number of orders.
The site has become mobile-friendly. Both customers and company employees can now use it on the go saving time and effort.
